Runner’s Sole is Kamloops’ premier running and walking specialty shop
We are a “sit and fit” shop and our prerogative is to find the right shoe for you and not just any shoe. We are shoe fitters not shoe fetchers! We carry in stock a wide variety of footwear including runners, walkers, hikers, orthopedic footwear, court shoes, sandals, and kids‘ shoes. We carry sizes ranging from a woman’s 5 to a men’s 16 and width ranging from 2A to 6E.
We can fit any foot!
The Runner’s Sole Fit Process:
Our staff is fully trained to assess the foot including length, width, arch height, and more. We will also analyze your gait to determine if you have a pronated, neutral, or supinated foot. We will build a unique customer profile based on your answers to our 5 key questions
- Have you ever been fitted for shoes?
- What are you currently wearing on your feet?
- What types of activities will you be doing in your shoes?
- Are you happy with your current pair of shoes? Why or why not?
- Do you have any problems with your feet, knees, or lower back?
With a greater understanding of your needs, we will find the right shoe for you!
We Love What we do
Runner’s Sole is a no pressure and non-commissioned sales environment. We want to get you into the right shoe, not the most expensive shoe. Our incentive is to get you the right shoe so you come back when you need a new pair. Customer service is our passion!

Here at Runner’s Sole we support many community initiatives including races, fun runs, fundraisers, local sporting teams, clubs and charities. We are a proud sponsor of several community events in 2017 including: the Polarthon, the 4x Mixed Relay Indoor Triathlon, the River’s Spring Run Off, Boogie the Bridge, Dirty Feet Trail Races, the Blackwell Dairy Run, Get Happy Events, Walk in the Park, the KTRA Gallop, Femsport, the Spring Sprint & Kids of Steel, the Ashcroft Hellclimb, the Desert Hill’s Tryathlon and the Pavilion Lake triathlon and more.
We want to help you
We specialize in problem feet. If you are having difficulties finding the proper footwear then we want to help. Do you suffer from Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles Tendonitis, Morton’s Neuroma, Hammer Toes, or Diabetes? If you answered yes to one or more of those questions then we can help you. We carry many shoes and accessories that are specifically designed to help alleviate many foot problems. We also specialize in fitting orthotics.
